Dental Implant Surgery
For individuals who wish to replace missing teeth, dental implants may be an effective long-term solution. Implants provide greater structural support and last longer than either bridges or dentures. Implants serve as the artificial root to which new teeth are attached to.

Bone Grafts & Regeneration
In order to replace a missing tooth with a dental implant or bridges, there must be sufficient and suitable bone to support the implant or bridge. If this criteria is not met, regeneration of the bone should be performed. The procedure uses bone grafts and biocompatible membranes that keeps out tissue and thus, repairs and grows new bone. The new bone growth fortifies the grafted area by creating a bridge between the existing bone and the graft. Eventually, the newly formed bone will replace majority of the grafted material.

Dental Check Up & Maintenance
Deep Cleanings/Scaling/Tooth Polishing
Amalgam and Composite Fillings
Dental Check Up & MaintenanceTo maintain good oral hygiene and health, it is advisable to visit your dentist for a general dental check up or maintenance such as cleaning, polishing and filling every 6 months. Regular and consistent visits are important to ensure good oral health and reinforce positive life-long habits. Strong teeth, fresh breath and a brighter smile can be yours with good oral hygiene practice.
Deep Cleansing/Scaling/Tooth PolishingDeep cleansing of the teeth removes plaque, tartar, bacteria and tooth root surface which has been contaminated by the persistent accumulation of bacteria. For regular cleaning, scaling is performed on the part of the tooth that is exposed above the gum line. After which, tooth polishing is commonly performed to create a smooth and glossy surface on the tooth.
Amalgam and Composite FillingsAmalgam fillings are silver-coloured and contain half mercury, silver, tin and copper. Composite fillings are white, or rather tooth-coloured and contains glass and resin.
Compared to composite fillings, amalgam fillings are stronger, more durable, cover a bigger surface, and more affordable. However, composite fillings are very popular with patients as they are tooth-coloured.
